Howdy! I’m Chris Meador, the owner and coach here at Hutto Fitness Center (HFC). My mission is to help individuals like you build better habits, get stronger, and stay active in a supportive, non-intimidating environment. At HFC, we focus on personalized training experiences that help you achieve real progress, no matter your starting point.

I founded Hutto Fitness Center because I wanted to create a space where people could feel comfortable working on their fitness goals—whether that’s building strength, improving movement, or just staying healthy. With a passion for strength-based training and functional fitness, I believe fitness should be mandatory to your overall health, and should be about consistency, accountability, and setting realistic, sustainable goals.

We have put together a great team here at HFC, and we take pride doing things a little differently. We avoid the overwhelming, high-energy boot camp vibe. Instead, we offer structured programs with personalized attention, whether you choose our Small-Group Training, Semi-Private, or our Online Personal Training option. Every session is designed to support you in making lasting progress, in a way that fits your goals.

When I’m not coaching, I’m constantly thinking about how we can grow and improve here at HFC. My goal is to make sure that every person who walks through our doors feels welcome, supported, and empowered to achieve their fitness goals.

Quality of life means everything to me. I’ve spent my life lifting, training, and competing in various arenas. I swam competitively for over a decade and began strength training at 14. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of learning from and being coached by some of the best. Now, coaching others to achieve their goals and dreams is my passion.

I am NASM-certified in Personal Training and Nutrition and hold a Master of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology from the University of Texas at El Paso.

With over 25 years of coaching experience, I’ve trained swimmers at the highest levels, developed strength programs for athletes across various sports, and helped individuals of all ages, sizes, and experience levels reach their goals.

I’ve worked with teens, seniors (50+), and everyone in between. Whether your goal is to lose weight, gain strength, build muscle, or improve your overall health and wellness, we’ll create a plan that fits your life and goals.

With a diverse background in combat sports, football, military service, and a passion for working with military veterans, I bring a distinctive training style that focuses on discipline, strategy, and mental resilience. My experience has taught me how to optimize strength, endurance, and agility in a way that enhances both physical performance and mental toughness. I’ll push you to achieve new personal bests while maintaining the balance needed to prevent injuries and keep you motivated.

More than just a coach, I’m committed to being your partner throughout your fitness journey. Whether you’re aiming to lose weight, build muscle, increase endurance, or improve athletic performance, I will provide ongoing support, accountability, and motivation.
